MUSCLECAR has screened at numerous film festivals in Australia and around the world. Both Dwayne Labbé and Aaran Creece have a lot of people to thank for the film making its Australian and Global debuts. 

 

They include festival curator at the San Francisco Independent Film Festival Bears Rebecca Forte, Dean Bertram from A Night Of Horror Film Festival Sydney & Midwest Weirdfest, Wisconsin. And finally producer Enzo Tedeschi at Deadhouse films.

MUSCLECAR made its International Premier at The Roxy theatre on Sunday the 18th of February 2018 as part of SF Indie Fest. its as truly an honour to attend the screening of our film in San Francisco and we would also like to thank Festival Director Jeff Ross and Lulu Cachoo SF Indie Fest Programming Coordinator.

Bears Rebecca Forte, described MUSCLECAR as 'the perfect film to round out the festival program with some Gonzo crazy shit' like our movie. It's certainly a compliment and right on the money.

The film made a soft debut in Melbourne as part of MUFF on Thursday the 2nd of November 2017. Lead actress Jacinta Stapleton won Best Actress at the festivals awards ceremony and Dwayne Labbé won Best Guerrilla Film Award.

The film made its Sydney debut o Saturday the 2nd of December at the Dendy in Newtown as part of A Night Of Horror Film Festival. The film was awarded the Independent Spirit Award for first time feature film Director Dwayne Labbé and Producer Aaran Creece

A flurry of festival requests and entries followed including Celebration Festival in Shanghai China where it was nominated for Best Horror Feature. Then Canada to the Toronto Spring of Horror Film Festival where it screened on the 7th of April 2018.
